Good Morning,
Big news, SRM Tribe has a LinkedIn page!
Why do we have a LinkedIn page? Because Daniel, Sam, Fred, and I are on a project that we believe will make a meaningful contribution to the SRM community.
We’re developing practical tools and a “Knowledge Hub” that support SRM professionals in navigating operational complexity, driving commercial outcomes, and strengthening supplier partnerships.
It’s been a challenge to carve out the time, but the importance of this work and the potential impact it can have makes it well worth the effort. We’re excited to share more with you soon and we’d love your input as the journey unfolds.
We’ve already created a set of initial templates, articles, and workshop materials, all designed to help SRM professionals navigate the complexity of modern supplier relationships. These resources will continue to grow over the year which anybody can use. Also, we’re excited to share that two peer-reviewed, comprehensive tools are now complete:
A “Voice of the Supplier” process, built to help organisations better listen, learn, and act on supplier feedback
SRM Skills Assessment, designed to help individuals and teams identify strengths, development areas, and build capability with purpose
We’re developing this under the SRM Tribe newsletter brand (which is a pretty cool name) and have been lucky to collaborate with a wide network of industry professionals, including several readers of this newsletter.
Next week, I’ll be sharing more technical details about the tools, services, and resources we’ve created specifically for the SRM community.
However, in the meantime, if this sparks your imagination, if you'd like to collaborate, contribute or get involved, please contact me matt@srmtribe.com or if you simply would like to learn more, feel free to drop Dan an email at daniel@srmtribe.com We’d love to have you on the journey.
The initial engagement from those we’ve approached, and the feedback from those of you who have already used it, has been fantastic. Thank you to everyone who has taken part so far.
Finally, thank you to everyone who contributed to the SRM Lite Skills Assessment. I will be sharing some fascinating insights from this simple survey over the coming weeks.
If you would like to take part and receive your own two-page report, there is still time.
Thanks again, a lot more to come in the coming weeks. Watch this space!
Have a great week, for my European and UK readers….. keep cool!
Matt
